Network Edge Software experts Sartura join the HomeGrid Forum, bridging the gap between Open-Source and Enterprise

October 9th 2024 – Croatian embedded services firm Sartura has become the newest member of the HomeGrid Forum, the G.hn industry alliance has announced today.

Sartura’s engineers are go-to specialists in OpenWrt and Linux software that provide support and development around entire open-source ecosystems including Web UI, testing and documentation.

“Sartura’s expertise in software development, integration, and consultancy are highly commended by major businesses across the industry, which is why we are delighted to see them join our organization and support open-source innovations,” said HomeGrid Forum President, Livia Rosu, also leading the strategy and alliances landscape at MaxLinear. “Sartura’s recent work in advancing our own software, VectorBoost™, demonstrates the company’s proactive approach and commitment to the industry. I’m excited to see what the future holds with Sartura as part of our G.hn community, empowering service providers to ensure Network Function Virtualisation and accelerate deployments,” Ms Rosu continued.

Sartura’s induction into the organization enhances not only the company’s standpoint in the G.hn ecosystem but paves the way for fellow organisations to use Sartura practices to best deliver and differentiate their products on the market.

“The HomeGrid Forum has always stood out as an organisation advocating for advancements in software development and integration, as this is the gateway for real growth and prosperity across our sector,” said Luka Perkov, Founder of Sartura. “We look forward to sharing our work within the HomeGrid Forum community to allow fellow members to benefit from our expertise.”

Paul Arola, TELUS Senior Design Specialist, HomeGrid Forum Board Director and Chair of the GiGAWire Task Force, highlighted: “Since HomeGrid Forum announced the release of the VectorBoost as open-source software for crosstalk mitigation in broadband access networks, Sartura has been extremely supportive, driving bug fixes and new feature additions to allow telcos to leverage their twisted pair infrastructure without relying on Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for new developments.”

“Sartura has a strong presence and history of active contributions in several open-source projects and specializes in providing development and integration services for network edge and CPE software. By integrating devices into open-source embedded distributions, assembling open-source components into complete solutions or delivering on-demand applications, Sartura has been recognized by the HomeGrid Forum community as the go-to partner for differentiating their products,” Mr Arola continued.

As a member of the HomeGrid Forum, Sartura will actively engage in key industry discussions regarding on-going practices for best implementation of high-end software, collaborating with the aims of fellow member organisations in the process.

At Network X in Paris (October 8-10, 2024), Sartura will showcase their expertise at the HomeGrid Forum Booth B#12. You can find out more about what they will have on show in our latest blog: https://homegridforum.org/2024/10/14/sartura-to-showcase-cutting-edge-technologies-at-networkx-paris-2024/
